Rachakonda: Acting on Technical evidence and specific information, the sleuths of Meerpet Police, LB Nagar Zone, Rachakonda Commissionerate nabbed the chain snatchers namely Pulipati Kiran(38) S/o Omkaram and Siddamoni Narender(20) S/o Narsimha and seized intact stolen gold of 30 grams ornaments, E23 one motorcycle and two smart phones all worth Rs.2.50,000/-.
On 26.9.2022 at 15:30 hours, the police received a complaint from Mrs. Kadari Narsamma(45) wife of Niranjan, resident of Rajya Laxmi nagar, Gurramguda, Balapur (M), R. R. District, in which she stated that on 26.9.2022 at about 14:00 hours, the complainant came out from her house to visit grinding shop at Teachers Colony by foot, on the way when she was in the middle of road in the colony, suddenly two unknown persons came on two wheeler bike, and one of them got down from bike and followed her from behind and he snatched her Gold nuptial thread of weight about 3.5 grams from her neck and fled away on their bike. Further, the complainant stated that, if she sees them again see can identify them. Stating the above complainant requested to take necessary action as per law. A case was registered at Meerpet Police Station of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.
The arrests of accused persons were made under the supervision of Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat, IPS., Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Mr. G. Sudheer Babu IPS Addl. Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Mr. Sunpreet Singh IPS, DCP LB Nagar Zone, Mr. M. Venkateshwarlu l/c DCP LB Nagar Zone and under the directions of Mr. K.Purushotham Reddy, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Vanasthalipuram Division by Mr. M. Mahender Reddy, Inspector of Police, Mr. G. Ramakrishna Detective Inspector of Police, Mr. K. Narsing Rathod Sub Inspector of Police, along with his team. The Good work turned out by the Meerpet Police is highly appreciated and suitably rewarded.
