Chandigarh: On 3.11.2022 Traffic Police Chandigarh conducted a special Road Safety Awareness Drive with a team led by Mr. Jaswinder Singh DSP, R&D and R&S in Sector 15 Chandigarh, regarding proper parking of motor vehicles in the designated marked area in parking area of the markets.
The Police appealed to the residents of V4 and V5 sector that parking of vehicles on roads infringes the right of way of other road users causing obstruction un free flow of traffic, traffic congestions, endangering one’s own life and the life of other road users by this act of parking vehicles on the road which leads to road accidents.
During this drive 04 wrong parking of vehicles on road and footpaths were also issued to the violators.
