Chandigarh: On 6.7.2020 the Cycle safety squad of the Chandigarh Traffic Police conducted an awareness drive from Matka Chowk to Sukhna Lake, Sector 17, Sector 18, Sector 21, Sector 22, and HiraSingh Chowk, Chandigarh in order to educate the cyclists / rehri-pullers/rickshaw-pullers to move on the dedicated cycle track.
This effort was taken by the traffic police in order to reduce accidents among cyclists and other vehicles. This also helps to save the lives of cyclists in case of an accident. This is safe for the cyclists to remain on the dedicated cycle track.
