Karnataka, Chikkamagaluru: In a poignant ceremony held in Chikkamagaluru District, the Superintendent of Police, accompanied by officials from the State Bank of India (SBI), made a significant presentation to Smt. Asha, the widow of Head Constable Shri Mallikarjun C. N. The officials handed over a cheque for Rs 50 lakh, an act of compassion and support following the tragic loss of her husband, who lost his life in a road accident on April 9, 2024.
This financial aid is part of the SBI Police Salary Package, a specialized initiative aimed at providing crucial assistance to the families of police personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the community.
