Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, October 25, 2025: In a proactive step to strengthen public safety and law enforcement, the Chikkamagaluru District Police conducted Area Domination Exercises across all police station limits in the district.
As part of the operation, police teams inspected vehicles, registered cases for traffic violations, drunk driving, and COTPA Act offences, and held meetings with local residents to enhance coordination and community engagement.
The primary objectives of these exercises are to maintain law and order, prevent crime and illegal activities, and create awareness among the public about safety measures and legal compliance.
The Chikkamagaluru District Police emphasized that such regular operations play a crucial role in building public trust, ensuring visible policing, and reinforcing the message that the department remains committed to maintaining peace and security across the district.
