Chitradurga: Today, at the Chitradurga District Police Office (DPO), the District Police Officer along with the entire staff underwent comprehensive training on the newly developed KSP_BWC (Body Worn Camera) mobile application. This application has been specifically designed by the department to facilitate a systematic and efficient approach to video documentation throughout the various phases of case investigations. The training session covered in detail how investigators can leverage this technology to record evidence and interactions with accuracy, ensuring greater transparency, accountability, and adherence to procedural standards during criminal investigations. The initiative aims to enhance the effectiveness of law enforcement by providing a reliable digital tool for documenting real-time investigative actions, from the initial crime scene examination to post-investigation procedures.
