Chennai: Thanga Pandian (62), a resident of Avadi, Chennai, left for Thiruvannamalai on 17.4.2022 at 1.45 am and got off at the CMBT bus stand in Coimbatore thinking that he could eat at a nearby cafe. There were 2 persons and they spoke ill about Thanga Pandyan. The two also attacked Thangapandiyan and snatched his cell phone. A case has been registered by Thangapandian at the CMBT police station and an inquiry was underway.
The police team led by CMBT Crime Branch Investigator conducted an intensive investigation at the spot and arrested two hotel workers involved in the crime: Suresh (29) of Bangalore, Haj Mohammad (42) of Thiruvarur district. 1 cell phone of the complainant was confiscated from them. Court action is being taken against the said persons.
