Dindigul: In Dindigul District, a waterfall located in the Karaticholai area of Kodaikanal is known for the frequent presence of wild cows. This forest area has been closed to the public by the forest department for several years, with entry strictly prohibited. However, a group of students from a private college in Dindigul, who were visiting Kodaikanal, trespassed into the restricted area and took photographs. Upon receiving information about the incident, the forest department promptly arrived at the scene and fined 14 students, including Naveen, Selvam, Vasantakumar, Deepan, Premkumar, Iniyavan, and Antony, Rs.1,000 each for trespassing into the Karaticholai forest area.
