Hyderabad City, Telangana: As part of the final arrangements for the Ganesh idol immersion, a joint inspection was carried out on September 3, 2025, under the leadership of Mr. C.V. Anand, IPS, DG & Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, along with senior officials from GHMC, District Administration, Police, and other departments.

The 19-km-long procession route will begin at Balapur Ganesh Mandapam and pass through Chandrayangutta, Falaknuma, Charminar, M.J. Market, and Telugu Thalli Flyover, before concluding at the Hussain Sagar immersion points.

During the inspection, officials were instructed to ensure timely idol movement, strict coordination among departments, and enhanced safety measures, especially in view of rains and recent incidents. Mandap organizers were directed to strictly adhere to all safety protocols.

The Commissioner further informed that road closures and traffic diversions will be in place, with all operations closely monitored from the Command & Control Centre at Banjara Hills.

Appealing for public cooperation, Mr. Anand assured that the police and allied departments are fully prepared to ensure a safe, smooth, and peaceful immersion.
