Cyberabad: With the call of Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad Mr. V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, that ‘‘Plasma donation is a social responsibility. Plasma donors are equal to God as they were saving lives. Society will be grateful for the plasma donors’’. Donating blood/plasma is a noble cause and requested to help needy people by donating blood. By donating the blood one will help 3 people’s lives. Three needy persons will get RBC, Plasma, Platelets.
Many successfully treated COVID-19 patients (the victims who suffered from corona and recovered) are come forwarding and donating their plasma and saving others’ lives.
Cyberabad COVID-19 control room is daily getting requests for blood and plasma requirements. The people who recovered from positive symptoms to negative symptoms should donate plasma and save other lives. Fear should go from people. One can recover the plasma within 72 hours.
Within a week after the inception of the portal donate plasma.scsc.in. Cyberabad police collected 1000 people database of donors. It is not so easy to match the blood of donors and recipients. Cyberabad police formed separate teams and co-coordinating each other to categorize blood groups and help the needy people.
Till Yesterday 180 members donated Plasma. Today 15 People donated Plasma. Total 195 people till Today donated Plasma and saved 350 lives in critical and emergency conditions.
Commissioner Of Police Cyberabad, Mr. V.C. Sajjanar, IPS., requesting all the COVID-19 Warriors who have fought the virus successfully & who were symptomatic should come forward to donate Plasma. Their 500 ml Plasma will save two persons & will bring cheerfulness in the families. He thanked the public not to believe in myths around Plasma donation.
Cyberabad Police and SCSC are conducting regular blood/plasma donation drives across Hyderabad, Rachakonda and Cyberabad Police requested the public to come forward donate blood by entering your details in the dedicated portal link.
