Greater Chennai: Chennai Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mr. Sankar Jiwal, IPS, on the advice of the police officers who had served in the Chennai Metropolitan Police during the Corona outbreak with dedication and selflessness, provided corona prevention equipment, masks, gloves, liquid cleansers, medical camps and corona prevention awareness camps for the occupants and their families.
Subsequently, for the benefit of the Chennai Metropolitan Police and their families, and for the police officers and their families to check their own health, Chennai Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mr. Sankar Jiwal, IPS, today on 13.5.2022 at a Police Welfare Program held at the Police Station to mark the donation of 14,972 pulse oximeter equipment worth about Rs.1 crore to the police and to 150 guards.
The pulse oximeter equipment will be provided to the policemen between the ages of 30 and 60 working in the Chennai Metropolitan Police.
The Commissioner of Police said that the police and the family can check the level of oxygen and pulse in their blood and take precautionary measures to protect their health.
