Hyderabad City, Telangana: City Police Commissioner Shri C.V. Anand, IPS, held a video conference with senior officers and Zonal DCPs to review and finalize security arrangements for the upcoming Ganesh idol immersion and Milad-un-Nabi celebrations.

With Milad-un-Nabi on September 5 and the main Ganesh immersion on September 6, the Commissioner said elaborate plans have been put in place, with special focus on the Khairatabad Ganesh idol and security arrangements at MJ Market during the Union Minister’s rally.

The Commissioner directed Blue Colts and patrol teams to intensify surveillance across the city, while traffic police will strengthen management at major junctions including Basheer Bagh and MJ Market to ensure smooth movement of processions.

Organizers have been urged to complete immersions without delay, while police officers will extend logistical support by installing height banners at intersections, collecting driver details, coordinating with GHMC to remove obstacles, and regulating welcome stages along procession routes.

The Commissioner appealed to the public to extend their full cooperation to ensure that the festivals are celebrated in a safe, peaceful, and orderly manner.
