Rachakonda, Telangana: In a heartfelt ceremony at the Rachakonda Police Commissioner’s Office, Commissioner of Police Sri Sudheer Babu, IPS, felicitated retired police personnel who had served the department with dedication and discipline. Those honored included DSP Nandu Kumar (Fingerprint Bureau), Sub-Inspector Ananthayya (Introll Room), Assistant Sub-Inspector Manuma (Cholopur Police Station), and Head Constable Subba Reddy (CAR Amberpet).
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Sudheer Babu reflected on the nature of policing, noting that the police profession is one of immense responsibility and challenges. He praised the retiring officers for their years of committed service, highlighting their ability to work efficiently while navigating the many ups and downs of police duty.
“Police service comes with challenges, but it also brings immense respect when performed with honesty and discipline. I congratulate all our retiring officers for their dedication, and I urge them to lead a peaceful and healthy retired life,” the Commissioner said.
He advised the retired personnel to remain disciplined in managing pension and financial matters after retirement. The Commissioner also assured them that the Rachakonda Police will continue to stand by its retired officers, with the pension desk set up at the Commissionerate ensuring timely processing of pensions and benefits.
Admin DCP Indira, Additional DCP Admin Shiva Kumar, CCRB ACP Ramesh, CAO Admin Pushparaj, AAO Ashok Reddy, Police Officers Association President CH. District Reddy, Cooperative Director Lekula Ravinder Reddy, and several senior officers participated in the program, expressing their appreciation for the retirees’ contributions.
The ceremony served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by police personnel throughout their careers, and the commitment of Rachakonda Police to honor and care for its officers even after retirement.
