Lucknow: During the COVID-19 pandemic the Lockdown had been announced and all the shops, business houses, etc. have been forced to shut down to prevent the spread of the dreaded COVID-19 infection. The Government had given the guidelines to be followed to prevent the spread of COVID-19. During this period poor people who do not have any place to stay or put their head down have been facing a great deal of trouble as they come across various issues like place of stay, food to eat, etc. there are very few people who come forward to extend their helping hand to these people during this grievous pandemic period. The Police who are assigned the duty as front-line warriors to fight the COVID-19 pandemic from the front end has to sacrifice a great deal to perform their duties judicially.
They sacrifice on various matters such as to stay away from their family, not have sufficient rest, lack of food as there are no open shops for food, etc. Even as they sacrifice to a great extent they do not forget their duty or even hesitate to go beyond the call of duty to serve the people of the country.
In this way, they exhibit humanity by serving the needy and the poor. “The girls are hungry, the shops are closed”, on hearing a lady police constable posted in the police station in Lucknow took out her tiffin and gave it to the elderly who did not have food to eat.
