Rachakonda: CCTVs play crucial role in keeping the society crime free. Citizens should strengthen the security by installing CCTVs, said Ch. Malla Reddy, Minister of Labour and Employment.
On, Wednesday, 12th October Mr. CH. Malla Reddy, Minister of Labour and Employment, Telangana has inaugurated 166 Community CCTVs at Nagaram area in the limits of Keesara Police Station. Out of the total 166 CCTVs, 140 worth rupees 32 lakh have been provided by Nagaram municipal council and 26 worth rupees 10 lakh arranged by ICOMM Limited, Nagaram.
Addressing the media, the minister has stated that installing CCTVs in the residential areas would provide round the clock security to the citizens and mentioned that around 1 lakh CCTVs have been installed in the limits of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate. He stated that all the schools, colleges, educational institutions and companies should tighten their security by installing CCTVs in their premises and uttered that he has been motivating the citizens to associate with police in making a peaceful and crime free society.
Speaking on the occasion, CP Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS has stated that CCTVs have become an easy and advanced facility in providing security to the citizens and uttered that one CCTV camera works equal to hundred Police men. CP has mentioned that crime rate and incidents of child abduction, chain snatching, hit and run cases, house burglaries etc. have been decreased in the areas where CCTVs have been installed and reminded everyone that around 500 CCTVs and 4600 Nenusaitham CCTVs have been installed in the limits of Keesara Police Station with the continuous efforts and awareness programs of Rachakonda Police.
CP said that all the CCTVs which are installed at Ahmadguda, Rampally and Nagaram road are connected to the Command Control center and they will be monitored 24/7. CP iterated that CCTVs have saved many innocents from false accusations and provided valid proofs to punish the criminals. He has mentioned that CCTVs assisting the Police department and playing significant role in keeping the society peaceful. CP said that the government has also issued G.O and made it mandatory to install CCTVs while establishing new constructions in the city and advised the citizens to become a part in making a crime free society by actively installing the CCTVs which ultimately keep their areas peaceful.
DCP Ms. Rakshitha K Murthy IPS, Nagaram Municial chairman Mr. K. Chandra Reddy, Municipal Commissioner Ms. Vani Reddy, Mr. Sridhar Reddy Inspector IT Cell, CI Mr. Raghuveer of Keesara Police Station and others participated in the inauguration ceremony.
