<![CDATA[A police constable lost his life in an accident after his bike was hit by a private bus on Hebbal flyover, on Saturday evening. The incident took place around 7.15 p.m. The Police has identified the deceased as Mr.Dayananda,aged 35,head constable .He was working at Vyalikaval police station. Police said that Mr. Dayananda was heading towards the station when a bus allegedly hit his bike from behind. Mr. Dayananda sustained head injuries. Passers-by alerted the police who rushed to the spot and shifted him to a nearby hospital, but he could not be saved. The Hebbal traffic police have registered a case and are on the lookout of the driver of the bus.]]>
