Coimbatore: In Coimbatore Sultanpet, Tamil Nadu, on Wednesday the 31st the Vinayagar Chaturthi festival is going to be celebrated very well on behalf of Hindu organizations and public. On this occasion, on behalf of the Hindu Front, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and public in Sultanpet, Ganesha idols in different colors were consecrated at 31 places and then Visarjanam was performed in the canal.
In this situation, a consultation meeting was held yesterday at the Sultanpet Police Station with the Hindu front organization regarding the installation of idols for the Ganesha Chaturthi festival. Mr. Sivakumar, Sub-Inspector of Police presided over the meeting. At that time, the Sub-Inspector explained about the security measures to be taken at the places where the idols are kept and the procedures to be followed by the organizations placing the idols. Many people including Coimbatore Hindu Front general committee member Purushothaman attended the meeting.
