Uttar Pradesh: Under the visionary leadership of the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Yogi Adityanath, and as part of the ongoing and meticulously executed Operation Conviction under the guidance of Mr. Vijay Kumar, IPS, DGP UP, a comprehensive and concerted effort has been undertaken by all districts and the prosecution department. Since the initiation of this operation on July 1, 2023, until the most recent reporting date, an impressive and substantial figure of 23,085 individuals have faced legal consequences for their involvement in a diverse array of criminal activities.
This significant achievement reflects the commitment, diligence, and synergy demonstrated by the law enforcement agencies and the legal apparatus throughout the state of Uttar Pradesh. The successful prosecution and punishment of these accused individuals stand as a testament to the robust and proactive measures taken by the authorities in upholding the rule of law and ensuring the safety and security of the citizens of Uttar Pradesh.
