Tanjore: Balakrishnan, a bench clerk, who had retired from working in the court in Kumbakonam, Tanjore district, about 12 years ago. He was arrested by the police led by Kumbakonam East Police Station Inspector Mr. Alagesan following a complaint that he had tampered with the case file related to the murder of Thiruvidaimarudur police station in the Kumbakonam court. He was arrested yesterday on 16.10.22 after being searched by the police for 3 months and was produced in court and imprisoned.
