Rachakonda: The facts of the case are that on 02.10.2011 at 1400 hours Mothkur Police received a complaint from the complainant aged 35 years, R/o Mothkur Mandal wherein she stated that on 01.10.2011 at about 1300 hours, while she was proceeding towards her agricultural fields to provide meals to her father, when she reached halfway, the accused Neelagiri Narsaiah S/o Pedda Somaiah, aged 30 years, Occ: Coolie came from her behind and caught hold her by shutting her mouth, forcibly he took her into the Moosi river bushes, thrown her on the ground and forcibly committed rape on her. On her hues and cries, the accused threatened her with dire consequences by showing an ax and escaped from there.
Basing on the complaint, a case was registered with CR. NO. 80/2011 u/S 376, 506 IPC of Mothkur Police Station, Rachakonda. In this case, the then 10 Mr. K. Ram Mohan Reddy, CI Ramannapet, arrested the accused, during the interrogation the accused has confessed that he committed (02) Hurt cases and (02) outraging modesty cases. He was remanded to judicial custody. On completion of the investigation the 10 Mr. K. Narsimha Reddy CI Ramannapet filed a charge sheet in the court. During the trial today i.e., on 06.04.2021 the Hon’ble IV ADI cum Fastrack Court crime against women at Nalgonda convicted the accused Neelagiri Narsaiah S/o Pedda Somaiah, aged 30 years, R/o Gattusingaram, Mothkur Occ: Coolie to undergo 10 years Rigorous Imprisonment and imposed fine of Rs. 50,000/-.
In this case the 1st 10. Mr. K. Ram Mohan Reddy, now working as DSP at DGP office and 2nd 10. Mr. K. Narsimha Reddy, now working as ACP, Yadagirigutta, Addl. PP Mr. Syed Jameel, CDO Mr. Ch. Narasimha of Addagudur Police Station has attended on behalf of the prosecution.
CP, Rachakonda Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat, IPS, and Addl. CP Mr. G. Sudheer Babu, IPS, appreciated the 10s, CDO, and Additional. PP for their efforts in getting a conviction and announced a reward to them.
