Hyderabad City, Telangana, October 2025: The Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, Sri V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, paid his first official visit to Madannapet Police Station after assuming charge. During the visit, he reviewed ongoing investigations, law and order situations, communal harmony, and overall station functioning. He also interacted with the staff and inspected records to ensure discipline, efficiency, and accountability in police operations.
Emphasizing the principle of “People Welfare Policing,” the Commissioner highlighted the importance of citizen-centric service delivery, women and child safety, cybercrime prevention, AI-based policing initiatives, and welfare of police personnel. He instructed officers to treat every complainant with dignity, register cases promptly—especially those involving women—and conduct transparent and time-bound investigations.
During the visit, Sri Sajjanar also met Sri Azeemuddin Farooq, father of murder victim Sumayya, who expressed gratitude for the swift investigation and timely arrest of the accused. The Commissioner later inspected sensitive locations, police pickets, and CCTV installations, and interacted with local residents to assess public safety measures.
Senior officers including Sri Tafseer Iqubal, IPS (Jt. CP–L&O), Smt. Apoorva Rao, IPS (DCP–SB), and Sri S. Chaitanya Kumar, IPS (DCP–SE Zone) accompanied the Commissioner during the visit.
