Rachakonda, Telangana, October 31, 2025: As part of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate organized a Run for Unity (Ekta Run) at Uppal on Thursday.
The event was flagged off by Rachakonda Police Commissioner Sri G. Sudheer Babu, IPS, along with film lyricist Ananth Sriram, Everest climber Anvita Reddy, and athlete Kalpana Reddy.
The 2K run, held from Uppal Ring Road to Uppal Cricket Stadium, aimed to promote the message of national integration and unity among citizens. Commissioner Sudheer Babu emphasized that the event symbolizes the strength of India’s unity in diversity and the spirit of collective responsibility.
Senior officials including DCP Malkajgiri Smt. Padmaja, IPS, DCP Crimes Sri Arvind Babu, and other officers actively participated in the event, making it a grand success.
