Rachakonda : CP Mr .Mahesh Bhagwat IPS, Rachakonda has instructed the students to focus on the studies only and not get diverted towards any unwanted distractions, in his speech during the orientation program to the newly admitted students and parents held at Sri Nidhi University for orientation program of students and parents on Monday, 14th November.
Addressing the occasion, CP has stated that most of the new students face many psychological
challenges and witness numerous distractions at their educational campus and outside. He mentioned that many youngsters and students are being trapped by the habit of drug consumption and reminded everyone that drugs consumption spoils the physical and psychological health and leads to committing crimes which ultimately ruins their future. CP mentioned how Rachakonda Police Commissionerate brought many drug addicts out from such heinous habit and rejuvenated the future of many youth with “Naya Savera”- a drug de-addiction program.
CP has mentioned that UPSC aspirants club has been started in Srinidhi College Campus in 2016-17 and commended the management for supporting the students to prepare from their 1st yr of engineering which helped many to acquire awareness about UPSC preparation.
CP reiterated that students require parent support to overcome the hurdles and distractions they face while pursuing their studies and cited that students suffering from depression in many forms which is forcing them to incline towards unwanted habits.
CP instructed the students to approach police on the Rachakonda Toll Free number 9490617111 and on Dial 100, if they come across any incident of drugs consumption or illegal transportation or any ragging and mentioned that police patrolling teams and blue colts will reach the victims within 5 to 6 minutes. CP has advised the students to be committed towards their studies and make their parents proud with the success in life.
