Rachakonda: On, Monday, 10 October Rachakonda CP Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS has inaugurated 50 Community CCTVs at Kuntluru area in the limits of Hayathnagar Police Station, worth rupees 30 lakh provided by TSIIC.
Addressing the media, CP has stated that CCTVs provide round the clock security to the citizens and uttered that one camera equals to hundred Police men. CP said that all the CCTVs which are being installed are connected to the Command Control center and mentioned that crime rate has seen a steep decline in the areas where CCTVs have been installed.
CP reiterated that CCTVs have been playing crucial role in the investigation process of many grave cases and elaborated how the CCTVs footages helped the Police and Judiciary to deliver quick and accurate justice to the victims. CP advised the citizens to come forward to strengthen the security in their localities by installing the CCTVs which ultimately keep their areas crime free.
Mr. Manchireddy Kishan Reddy, MLA Ibrahim Patnam appreciated Rachakonda police controlling crime and preventive policing efforts. DCP LB Nagar Mr. Sunpreet Singh IPS, TSIIC Zonal Manager Mr. Ravi, ACP Mr. Purushottham Reddy, SHO Hayatnagar Mr. Venkateshwarlu, IT CELL Inspector Mr. Sridhar Reddy, Peddaamberpet Municipal chairperson and Commissioner with others were present during the program.
