Rachakonda: CP Rachakonda, Mr. D.S.Chauhan IPS, conducted Reward Mela for Police and Prosecution officers of Rachakonda for securing Good convictions.
On 11.4.2023 Rachakonda CP, Mr. D S Chauhan IPS. ,has given rewards to 168 officers comprising of Investigation Officers – 41, Court Duty Officers – 39, Summons officers 32 and Public Prosecutors 27 for their excellent work in securing convictions in important contested cases.
For the period of January 2023 to March 2023, Rachakonda secured total (45) Convictions in Major heads wherein Life imprisonment convictions in (04) cases, 20 years convictions in (03) cases, 10 years conviction in (03) cases, 07 years conviction in (04) cases, 05 years conviction in (05) cases, 03 years conviction in (07) cases, up to 02 years conviction in (19) cases.
Apart from the above Convictions, Rachakonda Commissionerate stood 1st in Telangana State in Major Heads Convictions for the years 2020-75%, 2021 – 79%, 2022-95%.
During the awards program CP Mr. D .S. Chauhan emphasized the importance in getting convictions to the criminals as it builds trust among public on Criminal Justice system and encouraged officers to continue the good work.
