Rachakonda: On Friday, May 27, CP Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS., Rachakonda Police Commissionerate has felicitated Ms. B. Sreebala., Deputy Commissioner of Police, Road Safety, Rachakonda and Mr. G. Pavana Rama Kumar (Inspector of Police,) for winning multiple sports medals in sports events held in Thiruvantapuram and Bangalore on behalf of Telangana state.
DCP Ms. B. Sreebala., won (2) Gold, (3) Silver (1) Bronze medals in Table Tennis and (1) Silver, (1) Bronze medals in Badminton in Women’s category in the 4th National Master Games Table Tennis and Badminton Tournament held from 18 to 22nd May in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. This achievement is a Master Games National Record.
Mr. Pavana Rama Kumar, Inspector of Police, Rachakonda won a gold medal in +109 kg category at the 1st Pan Indian Master Games National Level Masters Weightlifting Championships held in Bangalore. He qualified to participate in the International Master Weightlifting competitions as well. Krishnababu from Telangana also won gold medal, Nagaraju and Sivaramakrishna won silver medals.
Telangana State Sports Minister, Telangana Sports Authority Chairman, Telangana Police State DGP, Rachakonda Police Commissioner, Additional Commissioner and DCP congratulated and said that more medals should be brought on behalf of Telangana State.
