Warangal: Warangal Police Commissioner Mr. Amber Kishore Jha, IPS, inaugurated a 2K run organized by the Warangal Police Commissionerate to commemorate National Unity Day. Local students, police officers, and staff energetically took part in the run, starting from the Warangal Police Commissioner’s Office to Ashoka Junction and Police Office. During the event, Commissioner Jha emphasized Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s pivotal role in unifying all the institutions of the nation, creating a united India. He urged people to transcend caste and religious barriers, actively contributing to the country’s progress, and emphasized the importance of friendly and harmonious relations for maintaining peace and order. The Commissioner commended the students for their enthusiastic participation in the run. Following this, officers, staff, and students pledged to uphold national unity. The program saw the participation of Mr. Dasari Muralidhar IPS, Mr. Ravinder, Abdul Bari, Additional DCPs Mr. Sanjeev, Mr. Suresh Kumar, along with ACPs, Inspectors, RIs, and other police personnel, as well as students from Ramappa Coaching Center.
