Tuticorin: On January 20, 2024, in compliance with the directives of Tuticorin District Superintendent of Police, Dr. L. Balaji Saravanan, a social awareness program called “In Search of Change” was implemented in Kurumpur and Muthiyapuram police station limits. Under the leadership of Inspector Mr. Ramakrishnan from Kurumpur Police Station, the public in Nagakanniapuram area was addressed, while Assistant Inspector Mr. Iswaramurthy from Muthiyapuram police station conducted a ‘Looking for Change’ awareness program in the Muttiahpuram Police Station area. The police have conducted a total of 3814 “Seeking Change” awareness meetings throughout the district, resulting in approximately 1,20,196 individuals pledging to contribute to making Tuticorin district a crime-free zone by focusing on 36 different ideas.
