Kakinada: On May 14, 2023, a significant training initiative was undertaken in Kakinada and Peddapuram police station subdivisions, aimed at ensuring the proper management and security of crime properties seized in various cases. The training classes were organized under the guidance of the T-core department, with the active participation of District SP Mr. Satish Kumar, IPS.
During the training session, District SP Mr. Satish Kumar, IPS, addressed the writers, court staff, and computer operators of the Loni police station in the district. He emphasized the need for an efficient and convenient system to handle the seized property in police stations. To address this concern, an e-Malkhana website was created, specifically designed to facilitate the proper management and storage of case properties. District SP Mr. Satish Kumar, IPS, urged all the staff who attended the training to make use of this website to ensure a streamlined process for handling the properties in each police station.
The training session was marked by attentive participation from the staff members, who listened carefully to District SP Mr. Satish Kumar, IPS’s instructions. They recognized the significance of utilizing the e-Malkhana website to maintain an organized and efficient approach to managing the seized properties.
In addition to the focus on property management, an important announcement was made during the training session. The state government launched a Cybercrime Prevention Reporting Portal, developed by the IT core department, to address and educate the public about various cybercrime issues. This portal aimed to provide a platform for reporting cybercrimes and raising awareness among the citizens.
The program also saw the presence and active involvement of IT core inspector Mr. Srinivas, DCRB inspector Eshwarudu, and other officer staff. Their presence further emphasized the importance and seriousness of the initiative. Overall, the training session served as a valuable opportunity to equip the police station personnel with the necessary knowledge and tools to ensure effective management and security of crime properties, as well as address the growing challenges posed by cybercrimes.
