Andhra Pradesh, Nandyal: A person resident of the town of Dhone in Nandyal district lured investors with false promises of high returns, offering “Rs.1 lakh investment for Rs.10,000 monthly interest.” Claiming profits through crypto currency trading, he collected crores from residents of the town of Dhone and nearby areas. Initially, he paid interest to gain trust but later he stopped payments. Following multiple complaints, police of Dhone registered a case, and a special investigation team arrested the accused on 02.12.2024. His phone, motorcycle, key documents, and Rs.2.45 crore in bank accounts were seized.
