Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, July 5: In a firm move to curb illegal liquor transportation, Cuddalore District Superintendent of Police Mr. S. Jayakumar, I.P.S., conducted a vehicle inspection at the Cuddalore-Puducherry check post and issued strict instructions to the personnel of the Rapid Action Battalion.
The SP directed that cases be registered immediately and legal action taken against vehicles found smuggling liquor from Puducherry into Tamil Nadu. The intensified checks are part of the police department’s continued efforts to prevent unlawful activities and maintain public order in the district.
