Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu: In a prompt and proactive response, Cuddalore District Superintendent of Police, Mr. S. Jayakumar, IPS, visited and inspected the scene of an arson incident at Maligampattu village, falling under the limits of Kadampuliyur Police Station, where a person identified as Rajendran was allegedly doused with petrol and set on fire.
During the spot inspection, the Superintendent of Police gathered detailed information about the incident from the investigating officers and issued clear instructions to expedite the investigation and ensure the immediate arrest of all those involved in the crime. He also directed the officers to take all necessary steps to provide legal assistance, safety, and protection to the victim, emphasizing a victim-centric and sensitive approach.
Senior police officers and personnel from the concerned police station were present during the inspection. The swift on-site intervention and firm directives of the District SP underscore the Cuddalore Police’s zero-tolerance approach towards violent crimes and their strong commitment to justice, public safety, and effective law enforcement.
