Sivagangai: According to the orders issued by Tamil Nadu Cyber Crime Police Additional Director Mr. Sanjay Kumar. IPS., Superintendent of Police Cybercrime Division Ms. Devarani IPS., and Sivagangai District Superintendent of Police Mr. Selvaraj and as per the guidance and instructions of Mr. Namasivayam, Additional Superintendent of Police Cybercrime on behalf of Sivagangai District Cybercrime Police Ms.Devi and Mr. Sathish Kumar Sivagangai District Cybercrime Inspector on behalf of Sivagangai District Principal Education Officer at Alagappa University Palaniyappa Kotorang at Karaikudi, Sivagangai District a Cyber club was started in Sivagangai district schools in an event under their leadership.
Through this group at least 10 students will be added as members of each school and all the school teachers acting as the leaders of the group will form a whatsapp group with cybercrime police station officers at the district level and the cybercrime awareness messages will be shared to the students through the teachers and cybercrime crimes will be prevented to a large extent.
They were also briefed on Cybercrime Help Line No.1930, and www.cybercrime.gov.in and given advice on cybercrime.
