Many individuals are deceived by these scams, losing their hard-earned money to fraudulent schemes due to a lack of awareness regarding online security measures. Such instances are deeply distressing, as people often watch helplessly as their savings vanish due to cleverly designed traps set by these fraudsters.
Recognizing the need for proactive intervention, the West Bengal Police has also implemented ongoing recovery initiatives. Through dedicated efforts, authorities are identifying and reclaiming stolen funds, working diligently to restore them to those affected. In recent days alone, the state police have successfully recovered and returned a total of 14 lakh 58 thousand rupees to defrauded individuals.
