Uttarakhand: The Cyber Crime Police have successfully arrested an individual accused of orchestrating a sophisticated online fraud scheme, in Maharashtra which amounted to Rs.1 crore. The modus operandi involved enticing unsuspecting victims with promises of lucrative returns through investment in mutual funds. This arrest comes as a breakthrough in a widespread investigation, with a staggering 159 cases registered against the suspect across the nation. Furthermore, authorities have uncovered connections linking the accused to an astonishing 3272 separate cybercrime incidents.
