Rachakonda: In the 2nd Batch of Cyber Yoddha more than 120 volunteers are being trained to fight cybercrimes, Commissioner of Police Rachakonda & Chairman Rachakonda Security Council.
On Saturday 17th September, a flagship initiative of RKSC Cyber Security Forum a “Cyber Yoddha 2.0” a two days cyber safety training program was conducted for the enrolled cyber enthusiasts from Rachakonda police limits, at Rachakonda Commissionerate, Neredmet. All the volunteers will be enabled with various techniques and knowledge on cyber safety by experts during the sessions.
Addressing the session, CP Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS, elaborated the significance of different type of cybercrimes and advised the volunteers to take active part in bringing awareness in common public on cybercrimes. He instructed the volunteers to learn cyber safety techniques in all possible ways. In case of financial frauds immediately dial 1930 helpline or lodge complaint on NCRP portal www.cybercrime.gov.in CP said. He has also given several safety instructions to social media users to safeguard their information like having strong passwords, profile lock on Social media etc.
Further CP has instructed that the Cyber volunteers are prohibited from creating social media pages as “Cyber Yoddha” volunteers. No volunteer should use the certification program and ambassadorship for personnel benefit and to mislead people. All the volunteers will be provided with more training sessions in the coming days and before the certification program, the volunteers will be visiting Cybercrime Police stations for better understanding of cyber frauds.
As part of the Cyber Yoddha program, the young people witnessed insightful digital conversations on cyber security, digital wellness from expert speakers on a various topics, such as Fake News by Mr. Rakesh Dubbudu,, Police Connect and interactive session by ACP Mr. S Harinath, public and police connect by Inspector crimes Mr. R Venkatesh, Online Reputation Management by Mr.Sudheer Sivapuram, Digital addiction by Dr. Sonia Sharma, Social engineering crimes, managing Consent and digital intelligence by Mr. Anil Rachamalla, empowering with social media by Ms Sravani Asuri & Cyber laws by Mr. Sai Teja Kaveti.Genl Secretary Mr. Satish Vadlamani briefed on RKSC Forum initiatives and encouraged the youth and industry partners to enable and engage the work force within their organization.
