Hyderabad, Telangana: The Cyberabad Police Commissionerate celebrated its 24th Formation Day with a prestigious commemorative event held at T-Hub, marking over two decades of excellence in technology-driven and citizen-centric policing.
The event was attended by DGP Shivadhar Reddy and a distinguished gathering of former Police Commissioners, who reflected on the remarkable transformation of Cyberabad since its inception in 2003.
Addressing the gathering, the DGP highlighted Cyberabad Police’s growing “brand value” and its international reputation as a benchmark for innovation-led policing and advanced security systems.
Former Commissioners shared insights into the Commissionerate’s evolution over the years, emphasizing its transition toward modern, AI-ready policing frameworks and sophisticated operational structures designed to meet emerging challenges.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh reaffirmed the department’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with the IT industry to enhance cyber safety, digital security, and proactive law enforcement strategies.
Speakers underscored the importance of community partnership, transparency, and responsiveness in fostering long-term public trust. The event also featured a special retrospective slideshow and a felicitation ceremony honoring visionary officers who played a pivotal role in shaping the Commissionerate’s journey.
