According to Mr A R Srinivas, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Cyberabad, “Talking or texting on cell phones and driving the vehicles has become one of the major offences. While we are currently only levying fines on these offenders, only the amendment to the Motor Vehicles Act (MVA) will ensure that the licenses of the violators are suspended for using a mobile phone while driving, and people will be more careful”, he said.]]>
