Krishnagiri: An awareness rally took place yesterday at Krishnagiri New Bus Station, organized by the District Police Cybercrime unit, to address the increasing cybercrimes in areas like Hosur, Bochampalli, and Krishnagiri within Krishnagiri district. S. B. Thangadurai inaugurated the rally by waving the flag, while A. D. S. P Sangu from the Cybercrime Section presided over the event. The rally emphasized the importance of safeguarding personal information, urging the public not to disclose bank account details and refrain from posting personal photos on social media platforms. More than 650 students from private colleges actively participated in the awareness campaigns conducted during the rally.
