Mysuru City, Karnataka, July 2025: In an effort to address traffic congestion and improve vehicular movement, Deputy Commissioner of Police Shri K.S. Sundar Raj visited the Devaraja Traffic Police Station today and conducted a field-level review of Ashoka Road, a key commercial stretch in the city.
Accompanied by officers from the Crime and Traffic Wings, and under the coordination of the Traffic ACP, the Deputy Commissioner engaged in discussions with local shopkeepers and business owners regarding ongoing parking issues affecting the flow of traffic.
The meeting focused on finding practical, cooperative solutions to ensure organized parking, reduce road blockages, and enhance smooth transportation along the busy route. Business owners were urged to support the police in streamlining public access and avoiding vehicle obstructions in the interest of community safety and convenience.
