Dehradun, Uttarakhand, June 9, 2025: As part of the ongoing efforts to realize the vision of Drugs-Free Devbhoomi 2025, the Dehradun Police intensified its crackdown on drug trafficking and illegal narcotics sales.
During a targeted checking operation near the Ajabpur flyover, police apprehended two accused individuals and recovered 262 grams of illegal hashish in their possession.
Legal proceedings have been initiated against the arrested persons under relevant provisions of the NDPS Act. The operation is part of a broader, proactive strategy to eradicate the drug menace from the region and protect youth from substance abuse.
The Dehradun Police reaffirmed its commitment to a zero-tolerance policy against narcotics and urged the public to support the initiative by reporting drug-related activities to the nearest police station.
