New Delhi: Delhi police have arrested a warehouse manager in connection with the theft of 590 LED TVs. The action was taken by the Amar Colony team of the police station in the southeast district. The name of the accused is Dinesh Chitlangia. Upon his arrest, police seized 590 LEDs stolen from him.
According to police, Kamal Toshniwal had lodged a complaint on February 1 that 590 LED TVs belonging to LG and Samsung companies were stolen from his company go down in East of Kailash in Thana Amar Colony. Under the technical supervision of the company’s billing system, two e-way bills were issued in the name of M / SS Electronics at Mr. Balaji. A thorough examination of the e-way bills revealed that M / s Suresh Toshniwal Company Manager Dinesh Chitlangia had issued the two bills and moved 590 LED TVs to an unknown location in two trucks.
Police, who registered the case, examined footage from nearby CCTV cameras. The team saw two trucks with LED TVs in the CCTV footage. With the help of technical surveillance, manager Dinesh’s mobile phone was located in Rajasthan. Immediately, a team was sent to Rajasthan to nab the accused. The accused was arrested in Nagaur, Rajasthan. In addition to his arrest, 590 stolen LEDs were seized from a rented space in the Vasant Kunj Enclave on his orders.
During the interrogation, the accused Dinesh revealed that he was running an electronics shop under the name SS Electronics in Nagaur, Rajasthan. However, his business has been sluggish for some time due to the non-supply of goods. With this, he plotted to steal the LED from his owner’s warehouse in Sant Nagar.
