Gurugram: The Delhi Police gave a pleasant surprise to the complainant, Sangeetha who had lodged her complaints in connection with the loss of her mobile phone four months ago. It was a pleasant surprise for Sangeeta from Arjun Nagar, when she received a call from the police stating that her lost mobile phone was recovered her. At the office of the Police Commissioner Mr. Muhammad Akil on Monday, he handed over to Sangeetha who was among the 65 persons who had lost their mobile phones during a small function. A direction was given by Mr. Akil to the police to immediately lodge non-cognisable offence report in such cases and after tracing, return the devices to the owners. Ms. Aanchal appreciated the police after she got her lost mobile back. She said the Gurugram Police is active, effective and helpful. Mr. Akil directed the police officers to accelerate their efforts to recover lost phones and return them to their owners every week, after completing legal formalities. The Cyber Cell branch of the police recovered the phones. Some devices were traced to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. ]]>
