New Delhi: Delhi Police on Monday launched three new digital programs – Anubhuti, QR code-based feedback system, revamped Delhi Police website, and e-Chitta portal.
Delhi Police Commissioner Mr. Rakesh Asthana IPS has launched Digital Programs, which aim to add a new dimension to the digitization and modernization of the Delhi Police. Mr. Asthana said it was necessary to optimize the use of technology to improve the service delivery system and ensure the safety and security of the public.
Feeling – Speaking about the feedback management system, he said it would establish two-way communication between the public and the police and help improve the performance of the feedback analysis department.
“It is a paperless feedback system. Citizens visiting the police station should scan the QR code at the police station and identify their feedback response. The response database will be used to analyze and take corrective action for improvements in the police-public interface, but will not reveal the user’s identity, “said Ms. Suman Nalwa, Delhi Police Public Relations Officer.
She said the revamped consumer-friendly website of the Delhi Police was loaded with more information and it would be very useful for the citizens to know about the department and its services with a single click.
Ms. Nalwa, referring to his third initiative, said ‘e-Chitta’ is the “backbone” to duty management and ensures eight-hour shifts in the department, the implementation of which not only ensures optimal utilization of manpower resources but also enhances efficiency and staff transparency efficiency.
Ms. Suman Nalwa said e-Chitta would be working in a total of 178 territorial police stations from Monday.
With this initiative, staff can devote enough time to their family and look after their own health and well-being. They will now be able to work with more enthusiasm, she added.
Referring to the benefits of merging police control rooms with districts, Mr. Asthana said more personnel and patrolling vehicles have become available at Beat and police stations.
“Therefore, for the proper use of resources and manpower, the need for a digital duty roster is emphasized. In addition, it is necessary to separate the law and order and distribute the work evenly in all police stations to bring about the expected results, said the Delhi Police Commissioner.
