Tirupati: The Brahmotsava festival is held annually at the Tirupati Venkatesa Perumal Temple in Purattasi Month. According to the historical manuscripts, Brahmmotsavam has been going on for the past 1,400 years in Thirumalai Tirupathi.
The Brahmmotbhava festival was inaugurated on 30th September. The Golden Garuda Service, which was the main event of the Brahmmotthava Festival, was held on 4 October. About 4 lakh devotees participated in this. The festival is to be completed on October 8th.
Many devotees from all over India participated in the Brahmmotva festival. The Brahmmotva festival led by Superintendent of Police, Tirupathi, Thiru. Anbu Rajan, IPS was involved in the security work. The way the police handled the millions of devotees in a special manner received public admiration. Out of 80 Deputy Superintendents of police, 5000 Police were engaged in the security service.
On the recommendation of Thiru. Anbu Rajan, Superintendent of Police, security measures, precautionary measures, protection of children and women, and the preservation of the devotees from incidents including theft, the police took precaution methods acted effectively with a proactive approach.
