Thiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, October 2025: In a firm demonstration of zero tolerance towards misconduct, the Director General of Police (DGP), Tamil Nadu, has dismissed from service two policemen, Sundar and Sureshraj, who were arrested in connection with a sexual assault case near Tiruvannamalai district.
Both the accused were earlier suspended and are currently in judicial custody. With the DGP’s decisive order of permanent dismissal, strict action has been ensured, reinforcing the department’s commitment to accountability and integrity.
