Mysuru City, Karnataka, July 9 – In a dedicated effort to review police welfare and ensure operational efficiency, Dr. A. Salim, IPS, Director General and Inspector General, visited the Mysuru City Police Quarters today and interacted with police families to understand their needs and concerns. He inquired specifically about the shortage of accommodation and facilities for police families and assured necessary steps for improvement.
Following this, Dr. Salim inspected the Devaraja Police Station, where he reviewed the cleanliness of the premises, checked documentation and case files, and issued important guidelines and instructions to the station officer aimed at enhancing service delivery and station discipline.
Accompanying the DGP were several senior officers, including Dr. B. Boralingaiah, IPS, DIGP South Zone, Mrs. Seema Latkar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Mysuru, Ms. R.N. Bindu Mani, IPS (KA&SU), and Mr. K.S. Sundar Raj, Crime & Traffic, along with other police officials.
