Haryana: Haryana Director General of Police, Mr. Shatrujeet Kapur, IPS, officially inaugurated a state-of-the-art training center focused on ‘Green Building Materials and Practices’ at the Haryana Police Housing Corporation (HPHC) campus. The initiative is aimed at promoting sustainable construction techniques and environmentally friendly practices within the infrastructure development of the police force. During the inauguration ceremony, Mr. O.P. Singh, Managing Director of HPHC, was also in attendance, extending his support and highlighting the significance of this eco-friendly venture.
Following the formal proceedings, DGP Shatrujeet Kapur took a comprehensive tour of the exhibition area, where various stalls had been set up by leading companies specializing in green building technologies and materials. He engaged with representatives from the companies, closely inspecting the innovative products and solutions on display. The DGP took keen interest in understanding the unique offerings of each stall, particularly those that align with the objectives of sustainable development, energy efficiency, and reducing the carbon footprint within the police housing infrastructure.
This initiative underscores Haryana Police’s commitment to adopting progressive, environmentally responsible practices in their infrastructure projects.
