Srinagar: The Director-General of Police, Mr. Dilbag Singh IPS, has approved a retirement gift worth Rs. 2.51 crore for 251 retiring Jammu & Kashmir Police personnel in recognition of their dedicated and outstanding service to the Department. The personnel are retiring today from their service after attaining superannuation or voluntary retirement. The sanction for the gift has been issued through the Police Headquarters J&K order No. 1410 of 2023, and it includes 14 gazetted officers, 192 non-gazetted officers, 31 lower subordinates, 7 followers, and 1 helper from various units and wings of the department.
As per the order, a retirement gift of Rs.1 lakh each will be provided to the retiring police personnel from the Contributory Police Welfare Fund. This gift serves as a token of appreciation for their invaluable contribution and dedication to the department throughout their service. The J&K Police department aims to express its gratitude and honor the services rendered by the retiring personnel through this gesture, and wishes them all the best in their future endeavors.
