Dindigul, Tamil Nadu: As part of transparent and lawful disposal of seized property, the Dindigul District Armed Reserve Police have announced a public auction of vehicles confiscated in prohibition-related cases. The auction will include three two-wheelers and two four-wheelers and will be conducted at the Dindigul District Armed Reserve Police Complex.
Members of the public interested in participating in the auction may obtain an entry pass by paying a refundable security deposit of ₹5,000 for two-wheelers and ₹10,000 for four-wheelers. The deposit and entry pass can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dindigul District Prohibition Enforcement Wing.
The deposit collection and issuance of entry passes will take place on 26.12.2025, between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Police officials stated that the auction process will be conducted strictly in accordance with legal procedures, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability.
The Dindigul Police have encouraged eligible bidders to participate and reiterated their commitment to effective enforcement of prohibition laws and responsible management of seized assets.
